Boundary Waters

Canoe Area Wilderness

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) is a unique natural area located in northeastern Minnesota. The BWCAW extends nearly 150 miles along the international boundary connecting to Canada's Quetico Provincial Park, also managed as a wilderness area, and together they form a protected wilderness area of approximately two million acres.

I photograph the Boundary Waters at least once or twice a year. Some trips I travel solo. Some I travel with my kids, Luke, David, and Sarah. Some I go with my good friend and fellow wilderness fanatic, Shelly.

Every trip is an journey of discovery, and every trip end is just the beginning of the next Boundary Waters adventure.

Check out my site and enjoy the images!
